Well, it’s been a little over two months since I stepped away from my last endeavor.
The intention was simple: rest, reflect, and figure out what might come next. I haven’t been in a rush. After years of nonstop motion, I wanted to give myself the space to notice what ideas might surface when I stopped trying to force them.
Of course, stepping back can be disorienting. The calendar clears, the inbox slows, and for a while, there’s only quiet.
But gradually, something else begins to emerge.
Questions. Patterns. Possibilities.
Over time, one idea kept showing up. And the more I followed it, the more it took shape. At first in conversations, then on whiteboards, and eventually in late-night prototype tests that were equal parts breakthrough and bizarre.
For the past several weeks, I’ve been working quietly with a small group of collaborators on something incredible! We’ve kept it under wraps until now. Partly because it’s still early, and partly because, well, it’s a little hard to explain.
But today, I’m ready to share what we’ve been building.
It’s unlike anything I’ve worked on before.
A blend of physics, design, and a rethinking of how we move through the world.
Still in early stages, but already showing more potential than we thought was possible in this short amount of time.
We’re calling it Bubble.
It’s our first step toward solving one of the most persistent challenges of modern life: how we get from one place to another.
Transportation today is broken in ways we’ve learned to accept: Congested streets. Overcrowded airports. Rising fuel costs. Delays, detours, and endless security lines. We’ve optimized around the edges, but the fundamentals haven’t changed in decades.
And all the while, we’ve paid a price — in time, in stress, and in impact.
Transportation accounts for nearly a quarter of global carbon emissions. It’s one of the biggest contributors to climate change and one of the most overlooked sources of everyday frustration.
We think there’s a better way.
What if getting somewhere didn’t require fuel, vehicles, or even roads?
What if travel didn’t feel like friction, but freedom?
That’s the idea behind Bubble.
And today, for the first time, I’m sharing how it works.
What is Bubble?
At its core, Bubble is a personal teleportation device.
It’s built on a concept we’ve been quietly developing: quantum entanglement routing (the ability to transmit matter across space by leveraging entangled quantum particles) and a technique we call conscious geospatial anchoring.
In simpler terms: you think of where you want to go, and — * pop * — you’re there.
The system comes in two parts:
1. The Relay Unit
A stationary device that stays in your home, acting as a quantum relay anchor. Think of it like your personal return-to-safety hub. If anything goes wrong (a misfire, a location conflict, or interference from a strong magnetic field) your particles are automatically re-routed back home. It’s essentially a teleportation version of a 404 page.
2. The Wristband
Simple. Minimal. Elegant.
One button.
No screen.
No menus.
No updates.
Just tap it, and the cycle begins.
You’ll feel a gentle hum as the transfer initiates. Then, in less than a second, you’re encapsulated in a translucent, protective transport shell.
The design is inspired by nature, with a subtle nod to Glinda the Good Witch from Wicked. We wanted it to feel safe. Uplifting. Slightly magical. The Bubble acts as a temporary container, holding your molecular structure in a frictionless environment as it projects across entangled space.
You don’t need to enter coordinates. You don’t need an app.
You just think of where you want to go. Your intention becomes the destination.
The Bubble materializes just above that location and gently lowers you to the ground. Once you arrive, the Bubble dissolves, quietly and elegantly, leaving you exactly where you intended to be. (Assuming, of course, your thoughts were clear. Vague desires like “somewhere warm” or “not my in-laws’ house” may yield mixed results.)
How it Works
The Bubble system is designed to be intuitive, secure, and (mostly) safe. After all, we’re not just talking about travel. We’re talking about instantaneous displacement of matter using thought-based targeting and quantum entanglement.
Which, as you can imagine, requires a few boundaries.
So, let’s address a few…
Compatibility & Limitation Details
Eligible materials: Organic matter (including humans), cotton-based fabrics, and soft synthetics travel well.
Ineligible materials: Heavy metals, flammable substances, glassware, coins, and all forms of peanut butter are restricted for stability reasons.
(Please note that clothing should be worn. Folded garments tend to arrive crumpled, and sometimes inside-out.)
The Relay Unit
Installed in your home, the Relay acts as a personal quantum anchor point (like a cosmic “undo” button). If your destination can’t be rendered properly, or if your intention is unclear (“I just need to get away”), the system defaults to a soft reset: you return home. It’s better than ending up in rural Nebraska by accident. (Which, during early trials, happened twice.)
The Wristband
The only control is a single button. Simplicity was the goal. Because once you’re wrapped in a pink, levitating quantum transport orb, you really don’t want to be fiddling with settings.
The Bubble
The Bubble isn’t just visual flair. It serves multiple purposes:
Particle containment (you don’t want to arrive mid-wall)
Impact mitigation (in case you materialize above sea level, or above a sea?)
And public visibility, which is now a requirement after the “invisible arrival” incident at the farmer’s market.
The Bubble floats for an average of 7.2 seconds before gently lowering the user and evaporating. There is no sound except a faint chime, which can be muted in Silent Mode for introverts.
Beta Testing & Known Issues
We’ve been quietly running early alpha trials with a small group of testers. Their feedback has been invaluable, both in advancing the technology and in reminding us just how… imaginative human intention can be.
Here’s what we’ve learned so far:
Stability
Issue: One tester attempted to teleport to “somewhere peaceful.” They arrived in a sensory deprivation tank in rural Ohio.
Fix: We’re training the system to better distinguish between emotional states and physical locations.
Altitude Drift
Issue: A Bubble appeared 14 feet above a goat farm in Montana. Descent was smooth, but the goats were less than thrilled.
Fix: Altitude buffering has been improved in firmware v0.3.1.
Bubble Lag
Issue: In rare cases, users have remained inside the Bubble for up to three minutes while their destination cached.
Fix: We’ve optimized quantum caching to reduce load times under ambiguous destination requests (e.g., “the good sushi place near the park”).
Interpersonal Crossovers
Issue: A user’s Bubble briefly intersected with another Bubble in mid-air. No harm done, but the pair reported momentary shared consciousness and a strong craving for waffles.
Fix: We’ve added spatial fencing protocols to avoid entanglement collisions.
Public Reactions
While the Bubble itself is silent and elegant, unexpected appearances in public spaces have prompted a range of responses, including:
Applause
Screaming
One spontaneous marriage proposal (declined)
We’re working with local governments on a voluntary “Bubble Watch” awareness campaign.
What’s Next
We’re still in the early stages. The core technology is functioning. The Bubble is stable (mostly). The goats are recovering.
Now, we’re preparing for our first closed beta program, with select testers beginning trials next year. If all goes well, we’ll begin opening access to a broader waitlist shortly after.
We’ll be prioritizing:
Clear thinkers
Conscious travelers
People who can stay calm while floating
Ideally, individuals who have reached Sotapanna (stream-enterer) stage of enlightenment, as we’re seeing better resonance with the transfer protocols
To request early access or stay up to date on product news, you can subscribe to this newsletter (yes, the one, this one, right here). It may not help your Bubble eligibility, but it will keep you in the loop.
Most importantly, if you’ve made it this far, thank you.
At its heart, Bubble isn’t just about going places. It’s about presence.
It’s about imagining different ways of moving through the world:
With more levity
A little more consciously
A bit more wonder
And a healthy dose of humor
More reflections (and fewer product launches) coming soon.
Hilarious! You had me for a minute there!!
Ahhh…. Floating…
Just what needed
Been there and back
Anchoring only a slight dizzy tingle
What’s next?
