About Falling Into Place

Forget. Remember. Repeat.

This isn’t just a newsletter. It’s a practice.

Of attention. Of presence. Of noticing what’s already here.

A space where language listens before it speaks,
and where words invite you back to yourself.

I’m Glenn.

A lifelong questioner, former corporate strategist, and current explorer of what it means to live with more awareness and less armor.

After decades helping organizations shape their stories, I stepped out of the conference room and into the woods, the meditation hall, and the deeper stillness that only emerges when we slow down long enough to really listen.

That’s when a new kind of writing began.

I don’t claim to have answers.
But I do believe the questions are worth our time.
This space exists to help us ask better ones, and reflect with more clarity.

What You’ll Find Here

  • Poems and essays that open the door to wonder, transition, and the living questions beneath everyday life.

  • Narrative reflections that meet uncertainty with presence, not panic.

  • Daily haikus and short notes, as simple reminders to slow down and pay attention.

  • Conversations with thinkers and books that shake up the way we see the world.

  • An ethos of inquiry over instruction.
No advice. No formulas. Just the shared practice of wondering together.

  • A commitment to curiosity over certainty.
Because we become more whole when we stop insisting the world be explainable.
    The mystery isn’t a problem.
    It’s the point.

Why This Matters

I believe this life deserves our full attention.
Not in a striving way, but in a reverent one.
There’s beauty in how we show up, even in the ordinary.
Especially in the ordinary.

My writing doesn’t tell you what to do. It offers a mirror. A rhythm.
It reflects the pattern of forgetting and remembering I’ve watched unfold in myself for years.

Sometimes it’s a question.
Sometimes it’s a reminder.

It’s always an invitation: to look closer, to pay attention, to notice what’s right in front of us.

Cadence

  • Weekly rhythm: One poem (Tuesday) and one narrative post (Friday)

  • Daily rhythm: A haiku and short reflection in notes

  • Forthcoming: Books-in-progress published first in series format on a sister Substack publication (linked here soon)

If something here speaks to you,
whether it stirs, unsettles, or simply reminds,
I’d love to hear what it opened.
This space isn’t a broadcast.
It’s a shared noticing.
